Luna is a beautiful black lab/shepherd, only 1 year old, who loves other dogs, cats and people and needs a home!! She weighs 74 pounds. She has an old fracture in one of her hips and, because it was left untreated before arriving at AHS, the injury has healed improperly and is now inoperable. She also does have hip dysplasia in the other hip. So she is on anti inflammatory and pain management and the vet believes she will just need to stay on those medications long term. Luna has never been out of the shelter since she arrived in March xxxx. Consider fostering or adopting her and let her know what it is like to be loved and in a home. Luna is timid with new people and would do best in a home with adults only. She is great with other dogs, very well behaved and potty trained.; All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested and started on Heartgard Plus & Frontline Plus.
